We
had no idea what to expect when we were going to The Classroom,
a blues club, to check out a hard-core band. But when WOOD hit the
stage all
chaos broke loose because the energy of the music was so high that
people were slammin' and tables were falling and from their first
song to the last it was non-stop pandemonium. At one time the fog
machine got stuck and filled the club with wall-to-wall smoke and
the crowd cheered the band on. And another time they pulled out a
blow up doll dressed like a Glam fag and before the band could do
anything with it, it was ripped to shreds by their fans. Wood is a
band that will revive the dead music scene. I can honestly say that
I witnessed the birth of a new hard-core era, and where bands like
Metallica left off, Wood picks up and delivers.
